When is the Super Bowl 2016? Half-time show, UK kickoff time, TV coverage and odds

James Benge9 February 2016

The biggest show in sport kicks off on Sunday night and Super Bowl 50 could just be one of the most thrilling of the past half century.

The Carolina Panthers travel to the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California the odds-on favourites to claim the Vince Lombardi trophy for the first time in their history, hardly a surprise after a 15-1 regular season record season that ties for the best in the history of the NFC.

But it is defence, famously, that wins championships and the Broncos, chasing a third Super Bowl win, have had the best in the NFL throughout this season. Can they give quarterback Peyton Manning the second championship ring that would draw him level with younger brother Eli in what could be his final game?

Or will it be the explosive offensive of likely league Most Valuable Player and star quarterback Cam Newton that takes the game?
