White relishing return

Scotland captain Jason White believes he is ready to return to the national squad for next Saturday's World Cup warm-up match against Ireland.

The 29-year-old back-rower has been out of action since rupturing his cruciate ligament last November.

He said: "Hopefully Frank Hadden will pick me for the Ireland game. I'm not sure if I am ready for the full 80 minutes. I'm happy with my knee."
