Lee Briers scored his 100th career try as Warrington thrashed Salford 68-16 to move top of the Engage Super League on Saturday night.

The long-serving stand-off's effort was just one of 12 Wolves tries as Tony Smith's men produced a devastating display in the third Magic Weekend match at Murrayfield.

Richie Myler touched down twice against his former club while Chris Hicks also grabbed a double and Chris Riley went joint top of the leading scorers' chart with his 15th of the campaign. Ben Westwood kicked six goals from eight attempts as the ruthless Wolves gave the lacklustre Reds little respite.

Danny Buderus grabbed a late winner as Leeds wrapped up day one of the Magic Weekend with a dramatic 34-30 comeback win over Wakefield.

The champions were heading for a seventh defeat of the season as they fell 28-10 behind after conceding five first-half tries at Murrayfield. But with Ryan Hall leading the way with a hat-trick, the Rhinos battled back to leapfrog the Wildcats and finally move into the top eight after a sluggish start to the campaign. Buderus completed the fightback as he touched down with just three minutes remaining.

Brent Webb and Chris Clarkson also got on the scoresheet while Wakefield's blistering start came courtesy of two tries from Damien Blanch and additional efforts from Ben Jeffries, Paul Johnson and Tevita Leo-Latu.

Michael Witt scored 15 points as Crusaders stunned Bradford 19-0 in the first game of the Magic Weekend.

The stand-off put the Welsh side on the way by touching down twice, converting both and adding a drop-goal in the first half.Impressive debutant Jarrod Sammut then put the seal on victory - and ended in-form Bradford's six-match unbeaten run in all competitions - with a third try late on.

Harlequins continued their revival with a convincing 25-8 victory over injury-hit Hull.

Chad Randall, Will Sharp, Luke Dorn, on-loan Warrington winger Kevin Penny and Luke Gale all touched down as Quins secured back-to-back victories following last week's stunning defeat of Wigan.
