Wolves sign United midfielder

Wolves have pipped Sheffield United to the signing of Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson on a three-month loan deal.

The Republic of Ireland player, 19, has made just one appearance for United's senior team. Nigeria midfielder Seyi Olofinjana has signed a new contract that will keep him at Molineux until 2011.

Meanwhile, Sheffield United boss Bryan Robson has told former Everton midfielder Li Tie he has no future at Bramall Lane.
