Yorkshire's 16 Group, who had opened their season with a win againstCheshire, carried on where they left off to beat Northumberland 35-15.

Tries from Sedbergh scrum half Mark Simpson Daniel and Mark Clougher fromBradford Grammar followed an opening penalty by Driffield's John Hindleyestablished a 13-0 half time lead.

A try by Simon Care (Prince Henry's,Otley) converted by Hindley increased the visitors lead and further triesfrom Bingley Grammar fly half Andrew Silley and Giggleswick centre SimonHorsfall kept the home side in their place.

Yorkshire made it a double bywinning the A game 25-5 with two tries apiece from James Rothwell and SteveMason.
