Ziege has work to do in the gymnasium

Christian Ziege has been told he must undertake more gym work before contemplating a return to training.

The Tottenham midfielder damaged his knee ligaments against West Ham in the Carling Cup last month and he was hoping the latest scan would provide him with the all-clear to start running.

Bobby Zamora was on the mark for the reserves in their 2-1 win against West Ham at Upton Park last night but Freddie Kanoute's return from ankle ligament injury was put on hold.
