Breaking Bad’s Jesse Pinkman returns in a new look at the Netflix movie from Vince Gilligan

Fans of Breaking Bad TV series are finally getting a glimpse at another trailer for Netflix’s El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.

Six years after the Emmy-winning series wrapped, actor Aaron Paul reprises his role as Jesse, tearfully listening to the news in his car amid Walter White’s (Bryan Cranston) death in a shoot-out.

The trailer picks up after the season five finale, which saw Jesse escape his white supremacist captors in a Chevrolet El Camino and drive to freedom.

A voice speaks out across the radio: "Breaking news. A horrific scene with multiple victims. It started when neighbours reported hearing dozens of gunshots fired.

“When Albuquerque police arrived, they discovered the bodies of nine male victims, many shot multiple times. Veteran police officers are calling the level of carnage 'staggering.' Apparently, a remote-controlled machine gun was used in the killings."

The voice continues: "Investigators are looking for a person of interest who fled the scene.”

The cryptic clip doesn’t give away who fled the aforementioned scene but a caption reads: “In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.”

A Breaking Bad sequel without Cranston as Walter White may be a hard watch for fans but two other major Breaking Bad character are already confirmed to return for the spin-off.

Charles Baker is seen reprising his role as Skinny Pete in the first El Camino teaser, and Matt L. Jones returns as Jesse's friend Brandon "Badger" Mayhew.

The thriller is written and directed by Vince Gilligan, creator of the show, and 10 familiar faces are set to return from the original series.

Fans were recently sent into a frenzy over the possibility of Cranston and Paul reuniting on screen after the pair posted similar photos on social media.

It is unclear if Cranston will return to star in the film with some viewers pointing out that his character’s death was not properly confirmed on-screen.

Breaking Bad also starred Anna Gunn as Walter's wife Skyler while RJ Mitte played his son.

The series spawned a spin-off prequel, Better Call Saul, starring Bob Odenkirk as a slippery lawyer.

El Camino launches 11 October on Netflix.
