This month, the Glenfiddich Independent Mix turns one year old and to celebrate, This is London has five pairs of tickets to giveaway to its birthday party!

The last Thursday in every month at Cargo has been home to the best acts in the Nu-Jazz and Neo-Soul scenes, championed by the crown Prince of hip, Gilles Peterson.

In the past year, international acts such as Platinum Pied Pipers, Plantlife, Alison Crockett and The Soil and "Pimp" Sessions have graced the Cargo stage along with home grown musicians such as Elmore Judd, Eska, Silhouette Brown and RSL.

This month sees Steve Reid, Micah Gaugh, Gilles Peterson, Matthew Herbert and Karen P play live, while The New Vincent Quartet will play al fresco, offering original jazz stylings.

Prize winners will also get there hands on the Spirit Walk CD — the first in a series of two collaboration projects with folktronica extraordinaire Fourtet.
