Could there be a new Aphex Twin album on the horizon?

That’s what many fans are speculating after a pair of mysterious 3D posters showing the artist’s iconic logo appeared at Elephant & Castle Tube station.

There has been no official word from either Aphex Twin or his management, leaving fans to ponder exactly what the musician could be up to.

This would not be the first time Aphex Twin has announced new music in an unorthodox way. In 2014, a blimp with his logo on the side of it was spotted floating over London, followed by sightings of the street featuring the logo in New York City.

It turned out to be a promotion for his first new album released under the Aphex Twin moniker in 13 years, Syro — the official announcement for which came via a page on accessible via the deep web.

Keep your eyes peeled for any further hints — who knows where one might come from next.
