Percy the pig and Penny are getting married this Saturday, by the way
While the royal wedding is still two weeks away, our other favourite couple just went and got engaged right under our noses.
That’s because Percy the Pig – a gummy pig available from M&S – is to wed his girlfriend Penny.
At just 20, Penny will marry the love of her life, Percy, after the couple have been dating for nearly 18 months.
They officially began dating in January 2017 when M&S brought Penny back from a short hiatus to form the ‘Percy and Penny Together at Last’ pack.
Their wedding is to be ‘held’ this Saturday, May 5 – just a few days after announcing their engagement.
To commemorate the occasion, M&S have released special edition packs of the gummy pigs dressed in wedding attire and combined with little strawberry flavoured hearts.
The lolly packs cost £1.65, and while the wedding is not likely to be televised, we can’t wait to see where they go on honeymoon .
