Adele celebrates end of tour with heart-warming Instagram post

It’s been a busy year for Adele, who has been touring the globe in support of her third album 25.

The British singer has been performing across Europe, North America, Canada, and Mexico since February, including six nights at London’s O2.

With the first major leg of the tour complete, Adele shared a celebratory message on her Instagram account.

The image showed a homemade banner reading ‘mummy you did it!!!’, with a caption where the singer admitted she ‘b***** smashed it’.

“I just finished my 107 shows in 10 months. 100% live every night,” she wrote.

“I b***** smashed it, even if I do say so myself. You lot have been incredible, every night you've been so beautiful, loving and engaged.

“My band and my crew you made the whole thing turn. And my beautiful family made it easy for me to do. Big love x”

While she’ll be taking a well-deserved rest, Adele is heading back out on tour in 2017 to visit Australia and New Zealand. The dates, in February and March, will mark the singer’s first ever Australian tour.
