Richard Hammond says he will watch Chris Evans on Top Gear
Richard Hammond has revealed that he will watch the new Chris Evans fronted Top Gear.
Hammond and his fellow presenter James May left the popular BBC motoring show after Jeremy Clarkson was axed following a fracas with producer Oisin Tymon earlier this year.
The trio signed a multi-million pound deal to front a new show on Amazon Prime while radio DJ Chris Evans will take over as host on the revamped BBC programme.

When asked by Eamonn Holmes on Sky News’ breakfast show Sunrise whether he would watch Evans, Hammond said: "Of course. We were guardians of the whole thing.
"It had been around before us and it'll be around after us."
The TV presenter – who was on the show to talk about his new Sky 1 production, Richard Hammond's Jungle Quest – said the fans can expect the show to “evolve”.
“We’re going to evolve. We’ve got to. It’s a really unique chance at our age to evolve something new which is very exciting.”
But the presenter remained tight lipped on a name. When asked by Holmes if it has a title he said: “No – and I wouldn’t tell you if I had.”
