Ten years after the finale of Will & Grace, the cast have reunited for the first time to take on the 2016 US Presidential Election.

The cast filmed a 10 minute episode which was shown before the formal Hillary Clinton-Donald Trump debate on Monday night.

Will (Eric McCormack) and Grace (Debra Messing) attempt to convince Karen (Megan Mullally) and Jack (Sean Hayes) to vote for Democrat candidate Clinton over Republican Trump.

Karen enters waving a Trump flag and jokes that she took on Trump’s advice and built a wall around her house to stop her Salvadorian maid Rosario Salazar from entering.

Jack is undecided and says he’ll “stay home on December 1” because he doesn’t think his vote in “swing state” Pennsylvania will count.

In an attempt to convince Jack to vote Trump, Karen tells him: “Honey if you don’t vote for Trumpy there will be wars and monsoons and locusts and hoards of brown people pouring over our border from every direction. I mean it’s one thing if you’re sitting in the audience at Hamilton but do you really want to see those people everywhere?”

Grace tells Jack that Clinton “has been a two time first lady, a senator, secretary of state and is going to ensure your civil rights” – but Jack ignores her pleas because he doesn’t “like that she wears pants”.

In a final attempt to convince him to vote for Clinton, Will pulls on pop culture and says: "Katy Perry likes Hillary.”

Jack replies: “And bingo was her name-o. Sorry, Kar, I'm with her."

The group also discuss Fifty Shades of Grey, Brangelina and Ryan Lochte’s attack on Dancing with the Stars.

The video comes days after the cast of the NBC series sent fans into a frenzy after Messing posted a group photo.

The cast then posted a teaser video, which spelled out Will & Grace is back, on Monday.

Confirming their return, Hayes posted a photo on Twitter of the cast in character with the caption: "We're baaaaaaack!"
