Nancy Sorrell last night became the first celebrity to be booted out of the jungle in I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.

The lingerie model and former lap dancer was hugged and kissed by husband Vic Reeves - who last week became a surprise addition to the show - when the programme's hosts Ant and Dec announced the result of the public vote.

Earlier Natalie Appleton quit I'm A Celebrity... after viewers picked her for a record fifth Bushtucker Trial.

The whinging former All Saint - who follows former East 17 frontman and early walker Brian Harvey - threw in the towel complaining she was "tired, weak and bored".

Nancy, the face and body of Ann Summers, recently appeared as Greta, rock star Bill Nighy's girlfriend, in the movie Love Actually.

Wearing a bush hat, bra and skimpy shorts she told hosts Ant and Dec: "People may have wanted to split us up a bit."

Speaking about her husband Reeves, real name Jim Moir, she added: "When Jim came it helped me a lot, maybe people were a little bit jealous, I don't know, I don't care."

Nancy had known her partner was due to join the show but kept it a secret from her fellow camp mates, even when they questioned her about another celebrity joining.

"Joe (Pasquale) said 'it's not Vic?', I said, 'Don't be ridiculous'. I should be an actress, shouldn't I."

When the Essex ladette was asked if she and her husband had made love in the camp, she said: "We just cuddled, we were not going to have a bit of how's your father, no way it was going to happen."

She was later shown footage of the other contestants taking part in Bushtucker Trials, something she never had to do.

With a glass of champagne to hand she added, laughing: "I want a Witchetty Grub."

Asked how her husband would cope without her she said: "Not very well, he said he wouldn't cope very well without me."

"Maybe he will come out tomorrow," she added cryptically.
