Arsene Wenger's Gunners exited the competition in disastrous fashion with two 5-1 defeats against Bayern Munich seeing them beaten 10-2 on aggregate, ending their hopes at the last-16 stage for the seventh consecutive season.
And Man City let a 5-3 first-leg lead slip at Monaco as Leonardo Jardim's side won 3-1 on Wednesday night to progress on away goals with a 6-6 aggregate scoreline.
