David Moyes has a cunning plan to deal with Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy on Friday night... by sending him to join his wife Rebekah on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

Moyes took over at London Stadium after Slaven Bilic was sacked on November 6, but saw the Hammers defeated 2-0 by Watford in his first game in charge.

West Ham host 2015-16 Premier League champions Leicester on Friday, with Vardy in impressive form having scored six goals in 12 League games this season.

The England striker has scored twice in his last three appearances against West Ham, whose defence have conceded a League high of 25 goals this term.

Jamie's wife Rebekah is currently starring on ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, and the forward recently revealed that he voted voted five times for her to face the Worst Dates Bushtucker Trial.

Moyes was asked about the prospect of stopping the forward in east London, and admitted: "I wish we could send him to the jungle instead."

Friday's match will be Moyes' first at the London Stadium, and the former Manchester United and Everton coach wants a result in order to build confidence at a stadium which has earned scorn from the Hammers faithful.

"I've been there a couple of times this week and it's brilliant," he said. "We are going to be there for the next 100 years.

"When teams move to stadiums it can be difficult - it wasn't that easy for Arsenal at the Emirates - but we need to get used to winning there.

"We need to give the supporters something to shout about and something that looks half decent, and then they will support us.

"I want everyone to be together. I am not aware of the problems before I came, I was a bit surprised when I heard (the board criticism).

"I want them behind us to give us a chance of winning."
