Chelsea have confirmed they will play Liverpool at Anfield in May after the Premier League fixture was postponed because of the Blues' involvement in the FA Cup this weekend.
Chelsea were due to face Jurgen Klopp's side at Anfield on Sunday, but the match was pushed back after the Blues progressed to the FA Cup quarter-finals, where they lost 2-0 to Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.
The club have confirmed that their rearranged league fixture with Liverpool will now take place on Wednesday 11 May at 8pm, with the game being shown live on Sky Sports. However, the game could still be moved depending on whether Manchester United participate in the Europa League the preceding Thursday.
The postponement means Guus Hiddink's men will have to travel to take on Sunderland on Saturday 7 May, go to Anfield to play Liverpool four days later before hosting their final game of the season, at home to leaders Leicester City, on Sunday 15 May.
Chelsea's two other home league fixtures against Manchester City and Tottenham, which may have been rescheduled, will still take place as planned on Saturday 16 April (5.30pm) and Monday 2 May (8pm) respectively.
