Scott Hogan is in contention to play for Brentford tomorrow despite the uncertainty over his future.

Hogan has been the subject of interest from West Ham but, with no deal agreed, Bees manager Dean Smith has confirmed the striker is in his squad to face Wigan away.

“He has trained all week and that will be my decision if he plays or not,” said Smith. Brentford want £15million for Hogan, who has not played since January 2.

West Ham have already had offers of £10m, £11.5m and £12.5m turned down and Brentford are adamant Hogan will not leave unless their asking price is met.

The last of those bids was tabled more than a week ago and reports suggest interest has cooled from the West Ham end.

However, the Hammers are now one striker light after Simone Zaza ended his season-long loan spell at the London Stadium early to join Valencia on loan.
