The Italian confirmed on Friday that first-choice defender David Luiz, who has been carrying a knee injury since the win over Manchester City in December, will be rested for the trip to Molineux as will wing-back Marcos Alonso.
That paves the way for captain John Terry to start at Molineux in a three-man defence with Kurt Zouma and Nathan Ake. Asmir Begovic is in goal - with Thibaut Courtois left out of the travelling party altogether - while Nathaniel Chalobah and Cesc Fabregas play in central midfield.
Chelsea's forward line remains strong, however, as Diego Costa leads the attack with Eden Hazard and Willian flanking him. Pedro and Victor Moses play as Chelsea's wing-backs.
Meanwhile for the hosts, Wolves manager Paul Lambert has recalled Andreas Weimann following his winner at Liverpool in the last round of the FA Cup.
But Nouha Dicko's hamstring injury means he is unavailable today alongside Joe Mason.
