Greeks so passionate

14 April 2012

Greece coach Otto Rehhagel believes his team are in a no-lose situation for tonight's quarter-final against France.

"We have already won everything we could have dreamed of. We don't have anything to lose now," he said. "We know France have the best players in Europe but we'll play with strength and passion.

"We have to control the ball through the midfield to set the pace, which we didn't do against Russia."

Greece lost their last group game 2-1 to Russia but qualified with a 1-1 draw against Spain and a 2-1 win against England's tormentors Portugal.

Midfielder Giorgos Karagounis returns after a one-match ban.
